Guardian Grove Homestead

Here at the homestead we've got a full house: Brian, Dakota, their two children, and grandma Kim. Back in 2021 we purchased 100 acres of land in southern Tennessee and relocated from Illinois. Since then, we have been working the land to not only become as self sustainable as possible, but offer a variety of things to locals. We currently offer healthy pet treats, toys, feathers and pelts for arts and crafts, as well as some furry companions! 

In 2023 we had a stark realization to a concerning issue within our county. There was an astounding amount of stray and abandoned dogs. The members of our household having years of previous animal experience (outside of personal pets) decided more must be done. We invested in professional training so that we now have a Nationally Certified Rabies / Animal Control Officer in house. We have been working hard consulting with other rescues, law enforcement, and contractors (for building) to be able to assist with this situation as much as possible. As always, things take time, and sometimes much more than anticipated.
